El sábado me regalaron una maqueta de un grupo vasco casi desconocido. Se llaman Hegokoak y el disco de cinco pistas "Euskal-afro kantuak" se menea graciosamente a ritmo de samba o reggae con letras en euskera (¿o se dice euskara?).
No entiendo sus letras, no sé qué me cantan pero tengo que confesar que me da igual porque la guitarra me suena a Eddie Condon y eso ya supone el sumum del naïf y del buen gusto.
Total, que la canción "Etxea etsai" es la banda sonora de estos días lluviosos.

Last summer I was on holiday in Bilbao. The other day, my friend and I were laying in our pension, suddenly we heard very nice Basque music on the streets. Somebody was playing the guitar very well and was singing nice Basque songs. His name is Hegokoak. We went down on the street to
enjoy his music. We noticed Hegokoak was selling CD's, so we buyed ourselfs one. From that time this cd didn't leave the cd-player in our car anymore.
Now i am listening to his CD again and i like this music so much! I am trying to get him to the Netherlands to play at an international world music festival. So after using Google i saw his name on your
site. Unfortunately, i can't read spanish.
Is it possible for you to contact him to leave my e-mail adres, or maybe I can send him an e-mail myself? I really hope i can enjoy his performance life at a festival in my country!
